I had an opportunity to experience these watch trunks from Piaget a few months ago while some Piaget representatives where in San Francisco at a watch show. I was impressed that the company had these enormous custom made watch cases fit for a passenger on the Titanic. What I didn't know was that enough people would declare "I want one," sufficient for Piaget to go out and produce enough of them for sale to the semi-public. SalonQP 2011 Watch Show In London

While I won't be attending there this year (I did go last year), I do invite you to attend the 2011 annual SalonQP watch show event in London. The focus is on English watch makers, but that is just part of the show. For the third iteration of the event, the planners have moved it to the Saatchi Gallery in London and it will be held from November 10-12, 2011. Do check it out if you are in the area.
